Next up in the gallery of completed client quilts is this bright and colorful top by Charmaine that features simple squares set on point.
I've been good lately about remembering to take a "before" photo so that you can see just how much more the quilting adds to the finished project.
She used a cute construction site print as the focus fabric and coordinated the other fabrics. I especially like the multi-color diamond print fabric that she used for the border.
Such great texture adds much needed movement to the simple square blocks.
Most of the time now Charmaine lets me choose the panto design and threads to use on her quilts. For this one, Calder was my pic as it reminded me of doing K turns. Threads used were Glide Kryptonite on top and Glide Rock Navy in the bobbin. Charmaine purchases the Quilters Dream 80/20 batting from me for all her quilts.
The backing was a flannel in a coordinating shade of bright blue.
This quilt is going to be loved and I'm betting that it will be well snuggled with in no time.
Another of Charmaine's creations is up next.
