I'm going through adopting process as well right now and while my lil girl is not from China and already living with me, this tradition has such a meaning that's impossible to resist! That was great! I like your ideas for other layouts besides the easy checkerboard..a bit more interesting but still showcasing the fabrics and wishes. Very sweet!
