One pair, two pair

Before I shipped Paisley's 100 Good Wishes Quilt to her mom, I asked if she'd like me to make a pillow case or tow to go with the quilt from the fabrics I had left over. Of course she said Yes. This the the pair that I whipped up for her last week.
Because I knew that Paisley's older sister might be a tad upset if she didn't have a pillowcase too I told the mom that I'd whip up one for her also. The mom just happened to have some yardage left over from that daughter's 100 Good Wishes Quilt borders so she mailed it to me to use. These are Piper's two coordinating pillowcases.
I really like making these. They are so quick and easy and the finished product is super nice. I used the tutorial from Film in the Fridge. Everything has been boxed up and is now on its way to Minnesota.
They are going to give the quilt to Paisley for her birthday in April but I hope the mom opens it when it arrives and lets me know what she thinks. Creating something to match someone else's vision is challenging for sure. Knowing what I know about them, I'm sure it is going to be a big hit.
