I cannot believe that it has been a year already since I took the plunge and started this humble little blog. Wow time sure has flown by. It seems like it was just yesterday when I discovered the online quilt blogging world, found the Wanta Be A Quilter campaign over at Sew We Quilt and became addicted to all things quilt blogging is about. This addiction made me want to share too and so this blog was born.
Along the way I have "met" so many fabulous quilty friends. I have learned more in this past year from others that I'm in inspiration overload. I have more ideas in my head than I have time to execute. I even have a few of my own quilt and block patterns in the design stages that I hope come to fruition in the coming year.
For those of you that follow my antics and to celebrate this momentous occasion, of course I'm hosting a little giveaway. I found this really sweet charm pack of Victoria by Nikki Russell to offer you.
Plus this book The Scrap Savers Solution Book that I thought could be very helpful to any quilter.
Both prizes can be yours if you are lucky enough to have Mr. Random pull your name from the hat. You have 3 chances to enter.
1) Leave me a comment and tell me....if you had to pick just one very favorite fabric designer, who would that be? Not a fabric company that produces the fabric, just the designer.
2) Be a follower, new or old, and let me know.
3) Post about this on Facebook and/or Twitter and let me know, one entry only for this option.
Remember that if you are a No Reply Blogger, either fix that problem (instructions can be found here) or leave me your email address so that I can contact you. Those that leave me no way to get in touch will be removed from the giveaway drawing.
My house guests will be leaving sometime late morning/early afternoon on Monday so you have until then to enter. Once they pull out of the driveway, the entries will close and I'll announce the winner sometime later that day.
I will warn everyone up front that for this giveaway, I won't be able to respond to each and every comment. The kids are home from school today, I have 2 teacher conferences to attend, my daughter has a follow up appointment with the doctor after that and I have a bunch of company coming this weekend so lots of prep to get done. I do read all of the comments but sometimes like now, replying to all of them just isn't possible. Just know that I do honestly appreciate all that you write.
Have a great weekend! I know that I will.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your first year. It's a wonderful community to be a part of. Unlike most quilt bloggers, I'm not an expert on designers. I just buy what I like. The only designer I can think of right this minute is Bunny Hill, Anne Sutton. So she's my favorite at the moment.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your blog anniversary.
ReplyDeleteSince I sew from mystery fat quarter bundles, remnants, and scraps, I can't really say who my favorite designer is.
I follow your blog.

ReplyDeleteAm a follower, and I don't really follow any designer. Whatever appeals to me in the store is what I start off with, and I make sure that I have at least 2-3 pieces that go with it, to be able to make at least a wallhanging out of it. I don't usually take whole series. too equal looking. Like the versatility of all kinds of different motives and designs in my quilts. Thanks for the giveaway.
