200!

I just noticed that I hit 200 followers. Wow! Unfreakin believable...that so many of you would deem me worthy of following. I am truly humbled and grateful.

A celebration is definitely in order. How about another giveaway?

I'm going to be in Pennsylvania Amish country soon and plan on hitting a few quilt stores while I am there. I will pick up something special for the winner. What that will be? Who knows. It will depend on what catches my eye but know that it will be chosen with a winner in mind.

Entries will close Saturday, August 11th at midnight. I'll announce the winner after that.

Since this giveaway is to celebrate all my followers, you must be a follower to enter. Just one comment each please. How about....what is your 1 favorite fabric style (type)? ie: Novelty, Holiday (whichever one that is), Thimbleberrie-ish, Civil War, 1930s, Modern Contemporary, Solids, Floral, etc. You get the idea. I love to hear what others love the most.

And thank you, each and every one of you, for joining me on my quilting journeys. This road is certainly a fun one!

How fun to be able to visit Amish quilt shops! I will have to put that on my bucket list. Looks like I'm new follower 202! By the looks of my stash, I'd say my favorite fabrics are Christmas fabrics. Love 'em!

It is hard to say what is my favorite kind of fabric. If I look at my stash, it appears to be small to medium patterns. I am a kind of new to you follower; I found your blog a couple hops back during the Red, White & Blue blog hop. I have enjoyed checking in on your blog every since. Have fun in Amish country!

Congrats! I have no rhyme or reason to what I buy. There is always green but I don't usually purchase holiday fabrics. The only holiday fabrics I have are ones I won.

You will have fun shopping. Is there really a group of fabrics that someone can't love????? In the right piece, they are all beautiful. I love florals, solids, novelties, moderns, etc., etc.

Well done on getting 200+ followers. You are getting BIG! I enjoy visiting your blog and am enjoying the 2 swaps I am in that you organised, thanks for that. Favorite fabric? Do I really have to pick one, I guess it would be easier to pick what I don't like so much (neons and 30s). Favorite food is dark chocolate though! Enjoy your trip to the Amish country.

My favorite varies, sometimes daily, thus the stash, LOL...But if I seriously think about what I am ALWAYS drawn to It would have to be a red/white & blue/patriotic theme. OK, I am SERIOUSLY jealous that you are going to Amish country, that is definitely somewhere I would love to go!!

Congratulations! I am glad to have found you and enjoy following you :o) I love batiks. I am a nut about matching so, unless I have all the right colors from a single collection in something other than batiks, it drives me crazy. Batiks all match, no matter the designer, type or manufacturer - plus they make a clear big picture. Love em! Have fun on your trip to the Amish Country :o)

Paisley, anything paisley. One day when out shopping I stopped to look at a watch with a paisley strap. When I caught up my daughter said "what were you looking at mum" and her dad said "paisley, I don't know what it was, but it was paisley".

Have a great time on your vacation! I caught the sewing bug when I was in Amish country in Indiana when I was 10 yrs old and bought a bunch of starry print fabric for at least a dozen bed pillows. You'll have so much fun! My favorite kind of fabric is bright colored - can be solids or prints or batiks - any of them. I just love them if they're vibrant. Thanks for the chance to win!

Congrats on 200! How awesome :) I think I love almost all fabric but have been going through cycles lately, I was in love with Civil War fabrics but am really loving the modern fabrics right night, so that would be my current fave. What does French General fall under? I love anything French General or 3 Sisters...yikes, see how hard it is to narrow it down :)

Have plans to make some cute and cuddly quilts in vintage style
Thank you for the chance to win - just wish I could steal away with you
My Husband and I spent an evening in a Lancaster Bed and Breakfast with an Amish family. We really enjoyed our visit, and even took Grandpa to a horse auction the next day.
Have fun!

My fave type of fabric is the white or neutral background with black lined drawings and washes of color. When I lived on Long Island NY we used to take road trips to PA all the time. We used to love getting candy from Stuckeys. wonder if they still exist.
