Number 3

The final stitches for Teacher quilt #3 and the pieced backing were finished and rushed over to my long arm quilter for her part of the process. I'll have it back on Monday and then it will be a mad rush to get them all bound and labeled.

This one is my least favorite of the 3. I'm not sure if it is just the colors or if it also has to do with the fact that these particular fabrics were a royal pain in the #$@* to work with. I'm thinking that the border is just a tad bit too wide. When I am unsure as I add the borders, I always make it a little wider and then have the option of trimming it down once I get it back. What do you think?

I'll be glad to have these projects finished and be able to start something new. I've been working on them for way too long and I hate being rushed. Which project will be next? I'm not sure yet but I'm having fun considering all the possibilities.

I think it is wonderful! Love the variety of blocks, their placement, and the shades of green. Well done...don't be too hard on yourself...it is a treasure that will be so appreciated.
